(stylized as Underøath or UnderOath) is an American rock band from Tampa,
Florida. Founded by Dallas Taylor and Luke Morton on November 30, 1997, in
Ocala, Florida; subsequently its additional members were from Tampa.
On October 2, 2012, Underoath announced that they would be disbanding in
2013. However, they announced their reunion on August 17, 2015. On February 22,
2018, Underoath announced their eighth studio album, Erase Me, their first
album in 8 years and their first in 10 years with founding drummer Aaron
